Background

Ruwais pkg7 (2nd longest Jetty) project was planned with PAR modules and stick built buildings. its 5.2km far from the shore, consist with pipes trestles and concrete platform. buildings are located also concrete platform.

due to the severe weather condition, concrete platform was heavily delayed.

Challenge

  • Transform building design stick built to PAB
  • Equipment delivery Schedule and Location Changes
  • Fixed Floating Crane Capacity
  • Limited budget for rigging gears

Solution

  • Horizontally divide Modules provide additional protection for equipment
  • install some delayed equipment at site, even though CoG was keep changed.
  • configuration rigging with the gears available to rent

Result

  • The first equipped PAB installed.
  • Catch up the delayed schedule.
  • Installed Modules within original budget of the Stick built.
